  • Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, formulas, lookups, Power Query, and data modeling techniques to support analysis and reporting requirements.
  • Perform data integrity assessments to verify the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of network and security datasets.
  • Reconcile data across multiple systems and sources to identify discrepancies and ensure data reliability.
  • Analyze and validate network security configurations, firewall rules, routing information, VPN configurations, access controls, vulnerability data, and asset inventories.
  • Support cybersecurity teams by validating security control data, configuration records, system inventories, and vulnerability management information.
  • Create dashboards, reports, metrics, and data visualizations that provide insight into security posture, network performance, and compliance status.
  • Identify opportunities to improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency through automation and process improvement.
  • Support Federal cybersecurity initiatives by ensuring data used for compliance, reporting, and risk management aligns with applicable standards and requirements.
  • Assist with assessments related to technology modernization efforts, network transitions, security enhancements, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity, network engineering, infrastructure, and program management teams to support security operations and continuous monitoring activities.
  • Communicate technical findings, trends, and recommendations to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 0–5 years of experience in cybersecurity, network security, security operations, technical data analysis, or related IT disciplines.
  • Strong data analysis skills with the ability to assess large datasets for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and security relevance.
  • Experience using scripting languages such as Python, Power Shell, Bash, or similar tools to automate data collection, validation, transformation, and reporting.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, complex formulas, lookups, Power Query, data validation, and reporting.
  • Ability to analyze and validate network security data, including firewall rules, network configurations, access controls, vulnerability data, and asset inventories.
  • Understanding of core networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, VPNs, firewalls, IDS/IPS technologies, and WAN/LAN environments.
  • Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and networking technologies, including IPv4 and IPv
    6.
  • Familiarity with Federal cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including NIST RMF, FISMA, and NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5.
  • Ability to identify data discrepancies, anomalies, and potential security risks through quantitative analysis and technical review.
