Overview: The Supply Chain Coordinator role offers hands‑on experience, mentorship, and exposure to supply‑chain operations across our manufacturing facilities in Concord and Peterborough.
Key Responsibilities- Support day‑to‑day supply‑chain operations with an emphasis on data accuracy, reporting, and inventory tracking.
- Monitor inventory levels across internal and external sites and flag potential risks or discrepancies in reports, shipment documents, and data for parts moving between Siemens Peterborough and Concord plants.
- Coordinate with the Order Management (OM) team for sales‑order updates for direct shipment.
- Identify unique parts within a retired Bill of Materials (BOM) for obsolete disposal.
- Set up storage locations for incoming transfer accessories.
- Work closely with logistics engineers and the Source Team Lead.
- Support ad‑hoc projects assigned by the SCM lead or manager.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge through coursework or internships in data analysis, inventory management, demand forecasting, or supply‑chain operations.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
- Familiarity with data‑visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is considered an asset.
- Basic understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) is an asset.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills suitable for collaborative teamwork.
- Good organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
