Job Summary

ESFM is hiring a full‑time Janitor. The position is located at GM MCIC – 4280 Defense Way Northwest, Concord, North Carolina 28027. Typical schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm. Compensation ranges from $17.50 to $18.00 per hour. One year of janitorial experience is preferred.

• Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dusts and mops floors following approved procedures.
• Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement.
• Cleans assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment. Sanitizes all surfaces and follows the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete the task.
• Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines.
• Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refines floors; shampoos carpet.
• Contributes to the team and exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees, and others.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

One year of prior janitorial experience.
