Manager of Transitional Housing for Veterans

Harbor Care is seeking a Manager of Transitional Housing for Veterans to guide our dedicated team and support Veterans on their path to stability, recovery, and independence. This is a supportive housing leadership role serving Veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness. This is a fully onsite role in New Hampshire.

• Oversee operations across three transitional housing sites, ensuring high quality, Veteran centered care
• Work with other Harbor Care programs to support the needs of Veterans
• Lead and mentor case managers and residential staff in a supportive environment
• Partner closely with the VA, HUD, housing authorities, and community agencies including Continuum of Care (CoC) and supportive housing partners
• Support Veterans directly in moments that matter most such as crisis stabilization, goal planning, and connection to essential services
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and funder standards, and internal quality benchmarks including HUD and supportive housing program requirements

• A degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioral Science, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a mental or behavioral health setting
• Proven supervisory experience
• Strength in crisis management, communication, and problem solving
• A passion for Veteran centered care
• (Ideal) Experience with transitional housing, HUD programs, and military culture
• (Preferred) Experience in supportive housing, homeless services, or veteran services programs
