Material Loader- 2nd Shift

Job Overview:

The Material Loader will be a key part of our 2nd shift operations, primarily responsible for using a forklift to load and unload trucks, as well as organizing and moving materials within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move products
• Stage materials in designated areas for shipping or storage
• Accurately report any product discrepancies, damages, or issues
• Keep work spaces clean, organized, and safe
• Assist in packing, shipping, and breaking down product as needed
• Meet department productivity and quality standards
• Support other warehouse tasks as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• 18+ years of age
• Ability to multi-task
• Legally permitted to work in the United States
• Experience driving a forklift - required
• Dependable and committed to delivering high quality work
• Committed to adhering to all safety processes and protocols
• Situational awareness and ability to use good judgement
• Experience in a lumber or warehouse setting a plus

Physical Conditions & Essential Functions

• Able to lift or move objects up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work outdoors in varying extreme weather conditions.
• Able to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing.
• Able to walk and be on your feet for at least 80% of the day.
• Able to reach above shoulder heights and below the waist on a frequent basis.
• Able to work in warehouse and outdoor environment, around related equipment.
• Regular job attendance
• Working schedule is 100% on site, Monday-Friday, full-time, second shift schedule
