What We Do:
We’re looking for a Production Planning & Scheduling Manager to take ownership of our master scheduling and planning function, ensuring the right work flows through the shop at the right time, with the right resources.
Key Responsibilities- Own and drive the master production schedule across departments
- Balance demand vs. capacity in a high‑mix, fast‑paced environment
- Lead production planning and purchasing teams to ensure alignment and execution
- Optimize schedules based on material, labor, and machine availability
Identify bottlenecks and drive improvements in throughput and on‑time delivery - Collaborate cross‑functionally with Operations, Sales, Quality, and Sourcing
- Support quoting efforts with production timing and feasibility input
- Monitor key metrics: schedule attainment, backlog, and production efficiency
- 5+ years in production planning/scheduling in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of leadership experience
- Strong background in ERP/MRP systems and data integrity
- Experience in high‑mix, low‑volume manufacturing (job shop preferred)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 / AS9100 environments
- Ability to read prints and understand manufacturing workflows
- Proven ability to solve problems, manage priorities, and lead teams
