Registered Nurse - Pediatrics (Night Shift)
- Location: Concord, New Hampshire, 03301
- Duration: 13-weeks contract
- Shift: 12hr Nights | 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2,088-$2,232; (Negotiable based on experience)
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Pediatric Unit on a 13-week night shift contract in Concord, NH. The RN will provide high-quality, family-centered care to pediatric patients with a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients, including assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor, document, and report changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient care.
- Educate and support patients' families regarding conditions, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete patient records.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols in accordance with hospital policies.
- Participate in shift handoffs, team meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire.
- Certification:
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of recent pediatric acute care experience required.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
