Position: Registered Nurse- Endoscopy- Full Time (36 hours/ week)

About

The Job

As an endoscopy nurse, you’ll be responsible for providing compassionate care to patients during their endoscopic procedures. You will need to assess the patient’s needs and provide support before, during, and after the procedure. Additionally, you will be required to maintain a thorough knowledge of all the latest medical procedures and equipment used in endoscopic practices. On a daily basis, you will be helping patients navigate their endoscopy procedure, providing emotional support and assisting with any post-procedure education or care that may be needed.

You’ll Do
  • Preparing and positioning patients for endoscope procedures.
  • Monitoring patient condition during and after the procedure.
  • Administering medications as needed throughout the procedure.
  • Collaborating with physicians to ensure that all safety protocols are followed.
Who You Are
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience required.
  • Valid New Hampshire RN license or Compact State RN license required at time of hire. If hired with a Compact State RN license, the New Hampshire RN license must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification required. PALS certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire.
