Registered Nurse (RN) – Surgical Stepdown

Location:
Mercy Hospital South – 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, Missouri 63128.
Schedule:
Full-Time | 36 hours/week.
Sign-On Bonus:
- Experienced Nurses:
Up to $10,000. - New Graduate Nurses (less than 1 year of experience):
Up to $5,000.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with one of the following:
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- Nursing Diploma
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Licensure:
Must hold and maintain a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri or possess compact licensure, in accordance with state board of nursing regulations.
Experience:
Previous hospital experience is preferred and may be required depending on the unit.
Required:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association, or completion within 30 days of hire.
Preferred:
- BSN preferred.
- Additional state licensure or specialty certifications preferred.
- Prior experience in specialty area or similar clinical setting.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as needed to perform nursing duties.
