Amergis Healthcare Staffing, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN Infection Control for a travel nursing job in Concord, New Hampshire.

The RN – Infection Control Specialist is responsible for the coordination, development, implementation, and monitoring of an infection control program and/or employee health program. The RN – Infection Control Specialist is responsible for coordinating programs designed to detect, evaluate and minimize risks of acquired infections to patients, employees and visitors. The RN – Infection Control Specialist supports and acts as a resource to administration, medical staff, and all hospital or clinic services.
Minimum Requirements:
- Current licensures as a Registered Nurse in the state of assignment required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in employee health or infection control preferred
- Infection Control Certification preferred
- Knowledge of state, federal and JC regulations
- Advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Access preferred
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- M-F Day Shift, occasional weekends if there is an urgent issue or outbreak
- Infection Prev experience required
- Local Pay: $62/hr
- Travel Pay: $2,700/week (40 hrs)
