Overview
Registered Nurse – Med Surg on a high-acuity unit in Concord, NH. This travel assignment starts 08/10/2026 and runs for 13 weeks on a 2x3 night schedule. You’ll work in a hospital setting with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The unit focuses on medical-surgical and respiratory care needs for adults, with a diverse case mix and potential to float to nearby units if needed.
This opening requires active licensure and compliance with facility onboarding requirements.
- Weekly pay: 2,128 - 2,261 per week

Hospital-based high-acuity Med Surg/Respiratory Care Unit in Concord, NH
- Deliver direct, patient-centered nursing care for adult medical-surgical patients with high-acuity needs, including respiratory considerations.
- Monitor patient status, perform assessments, administer prescribed medications, manage IV therapy, and respond to changes in condition.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team; participate in discharge planning and patient/family education.
- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record (Cerner experience preferred) and adhere to unit protocols and safety standards.
- Support ongoing patient safety, infection prevention, and referral for ancillary services as indicated.
- May be asked to float to related units within the Concord area as needed to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact state; NH or Compact license required at submission; NURSYS license verification for active licenses.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in medical-surgical and telemetry (MS/tele) settings.
- BLS and ACLS certifications; NHISS required prior to start; will complete a dysrhythmia exam during onboarding (target score 80%).
- Education:
graduation from an accredited nursing program; RN licensure in good standing. - EMR experience preferred (Cerner); ability to work in a high-acuity Med-Surg/Respiratory Care environment.
- RTO (time off) request must be included at submission; first-time travelers accepted.
- Assignment support from a dedicated recruiter with travel coordination.
- Credentialing and onboarding assistance, including licensure verification and NH requirements.
- Local rate option available for candidates within 50 miles of the assignment location.
- Access to standard travel nursing support and resources throughout the assignment.
