Travel RN - Med​/Surg Float Pool

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Float Pool RN with active NH or Compact RN license and 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience for a 12-hour day shift float position.

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration (temporary license not accepted)
• BLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• ACLS certification preferred
• 1-2 years minimum Med/Surg experience required
• Critical Care RN experience considered if candidate is fluent with Med/Surg ratios and acuity
• Must complete a Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a preferred score of 80%

Responsibilities

• Float/Resource Pool role covering Tele and Stepdown units
• 12-hour day shift schedule
• May be required to float to Concord Hospital-Laconia and Concord Hospital-Franklin
• Cerner EMR experience preferred but not required
• Weekly orientation provided
• Must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for local rate
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
• Three professional references required once committed, including two from leadership
