The State of New Hampshire, Department of Health and Human Services, New Hampshire Hospital has a Full-Time vacancy for a Nurse Coordinator.

Summary:

Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Nursing/Patient Care Services, provides support, guidance, and consultation to Nursing staff 24 hours a day seven days a week. Engages in inter and intra-departmental collaboration to insure continuity of patient care and consistent management practices. Practices within the scope and standards of the Department, Hospital, and Regulatory Agencies.

YOUR EXPERIENCE COUNTS:

Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education
:
Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with major study in nursing, human services, psychology, or a related field. Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience.
Experience
:
Five years’ experience as a registered nurse in a health care facility or a related human service field working in any specialty area. Each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
License/Certification
:

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire.
• Current certification in CPR.
• Must be certified by the American Nurses Association or another nationally recognized certifying entity in Nursing Administration or a specialty consistent with the job accountabilities and appropriate to the institution or agency in which the vacancy exists.
