Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical Float (Nights)

Keene, NH | Inpatient

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite

• Coordinate total nursing care for an adult-geriatric patient population in a medical surgical float capacity
• Float between inpatient Med Surg units as assigned, including potential unit changes within a single shift
• Participate in patient and family teaching to support care plans and discharge readiness
• Work cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and interdisciplinary patient care team members to maintain professional nursing standards
• Must be prepared to work stepdown unit when needed, including management of cardiac drips and other stepdown-level practices
• Document and manage patient care using the Epic EMR system

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 2 years of Medical Surgical experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Experience with cardiac drips and stepdown practices required
• Must be willing to float between Med Surg units and accept unit changes during a single shift — block scheduling will not be accommodated
• Must have own reliable vehicle for this assignment
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

• ICU RN background — ICU-trained nurses will be considered for this float role
• Proficiency with Epic EMR
• Experience in a regional referral or multi-unit hospital environment

• Work in a dynamic inpatient float role at a well-established regional referral center in southwestern New Hampshire, gaining broad clinical exposure across multiple Med Surg units
