Seasonal Laborer Cemetery

Description

Come join the summer team that makes the Cemeteries of Concord pristine for Memorial Day. Find the beauty and history in the Cemeteries of Concord. The department is looking for seasonal maintenance workers to help maintain our 13 cemeteries. Employees typically work 40 hours a week Monday - Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. with an unpaid 30 minute lunch.

$17.10 per hour.

Performs various routine duties involving the maintenance of the City of Concord's municipal cemeteries. May operate equipment and trucks as assigned and licensed. Works under the supervision of the Cemetery Administrator or his/her designee. Laborer may work unattended as needed or instructed by supervisor. Applicants need to be 16 years old or older.

• Mowing, trimming, weeding, irrigating, raking, shoveling, pruning trees, planting trees, planting shrubs and flowers, mulching flower beds.
• Custodial duties, maintaining buildings and equipment.
• Follow and enforce department rules and regulations.
• Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

• A valid NH Operators motor vehicle license is required for all applicants 18 years and older.
• Passing of a driver history and criminal background check is required for this job for those applicants 18 years and older.

Hours of work:
Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m.

- 2:30 p.m., or as scheduled, up to 40 hours per week.
