The State of New Hampshire, NH Fish and Game Department has a seasonal vacancy for Biological Aide Bear Project
Summary:
To assist in the implementation of a comprehensive bear/human conflict mitigation program under the direct supervision and guidance of the department's bear project leader. (May through September)

Each additional year of approved formal education may be substituted for one year of required work experience and/or each additional year of approved work experience may be substituted for one year of required formal education.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/
Experience:
Equivalent combination of 2 years of education and experience after completion of high school. Education and experience must be in fisheries or wildlife conservation, commercial fishing, landscaping, carpentry, agriculture, outdoor recreation, or park management, and include operating or maintaining equipment.
License/Certification: Valid driver's license
Other Requirements: Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) must meet the minimum standards established by the agency

Responsibilities:
Assists in outreach and education directed at preventing and resolving bear/human conflicts.
Receives, resolves and documents routine bear complaints as requested.
Distributes bear conflict mitigation supplies and equipment and installs electric fencing and scare devices.
Assists in the capture, handling and transport of bears as directed by the bear project leader.
Performs other tasks as assigned by the bear project leader in support of other ongoing wildlife management programs.
