The Final Inspector is responsible for performing detailed inspections of custom transformers and transducers to ensure compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, and AS9100 quality standards. This role ensures that all products meet internal and external requirements before shipment.

What You’ll Do:
  • Perform final inspection of completed transformers and transducers, verifying dimensions, workmanship, and labeling against engineering drawings and customer requirements.
  • Review and validate all associated documentation, including inspection records, test reports.
  • Create certificates of conformance (C of

    C), certificates of approval (C of

    A), etc.
  • Ensure adherence to AS9100 and internal quality management system requirements throughout the inspection process.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, multimeters) and specialized test equipment to confirm product conformity.
  • Identify and document nonconformances; initiate corrective actions in collaboration with Quality and Production teams.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records in accordance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Support internal audits and customer source inspections as required.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inspection processes and product quality.
  • Other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring :
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electronics or manufacturing preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in quality inspection within an AS9100 or ISO-certified environment.
  • Familiarity with transformers, transducers, or similar electrical components strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools and electrical test equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft word, excel, power point.
Other Requirements:
  • Ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
