Lab Analyst II - Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Northeast

Eurofins Environment Testing Northeast, LLC is searching for an Analyst II to join our Wet Chemistry team in Concord, New Hampshire
. MUST live a commutable distance to the lab.

Position:
Monday-Friday, 10:00am-7:00pm plus overtime as needed.

Compensation: $20-22/hour plus full benefits.

The Analyst II prepares and analyzes environmental samples using standard and complex testing according to scientific and environmental protection methodology in compliance with Eurofins Environmental Quality Assurance programs and standard operating procedures. Validates and reviews data for accuracy through Level I reviews. Uploads laboratory data in LIMS to generate data packages for delivery to clients. Must be knowledgeable of laboratory testing equipment requiring discretion and judgment.

• Perform laboratory procedures: batch and prep samples, make reagents, aliquot extracted samples, prepare standards, determine appropriate routine and complex analysis methods, operate, calibrate, and maintain instruments.
• Upload data into LIMS for review.
• Perform Level I review of data.
• Maintain logbooks and monitor refrigerator temperatures.
• Maintain housekeeping standards for work area.
• Inventory and stock laboratory supplies.
• Secondary duties: order supplies, wash and inventory glassware, write NCM’s for projects with QA issues, purge analyzed samples, assist in training new analysts, assist in other laboratory areas when needed.

• Education: BS or BA in chemistry or related field OR 3 years of laboratory experience may substitute for degree.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in routine and complex laboratory procedures and instruments, preferably in a production environment. Previous production-oriented work helpful. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Professional English proficiency required.
