Product Demonstrator Part Time

Job Description

The Associate is responsible for completing in-store food and non-food demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of represented products, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies, intercepting consumers and demonstrating products professionally, and maintaining a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.

• Possesses aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of represented products.
• Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to consumers positively.
• Effectively communicate product features and benefits.
• Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
• Professional appearance consistent with the requirements.
• Set up and prepare event table for execution.
• Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
• Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
• Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
• Complete expense reports per company policy.
• Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
• Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.
• Maintain professional appearance and proper grooming; ensure neatness and compliance with retailer dress code.

This role is not expected to exceed more than 25 hours per week, although the company may change the role based on business or client needs.

• Education/Experience
  :
  High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Computer Skills
  :
  Proficiency in using and navigating personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
• Local food handler permit may be required.
• Physical Demands
  :
  Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk, hear, read, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods using required appliances, be in contact with cleaning supplies.
