Zamboni Driver ​/ Arena Pro Shop Attendant

DEPARTMENT: General Services Department - Douglas N. Everett Arena

TYPICAL WORK SHIFT/

SCHEDULE:

Varied

SALARY RANGE: $17.61 - $18.79 DOQ

Under the direction of the Arena Supervisor, assists with ice resurfacing and working in the arena pro shop which includes skate sharpening, skate rentals and retail sales.

• Sets up and preps Pro Shop.
• Maintains ice rink through proper operation of the Zamboni.
• Follows proper procedures for cash transactions of goods & services.
• Provides good customer service
• Clean and stock Pro Shop at end of shift
• Assigns Locker Rooms
• Keeps Groups on Schedule
• Cleans facility throughout shift
• Assist in snow removal
• Keeps equipment logs up to date
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
:

Education and Experience:

Background in arena operation and customer service helpful but not required

Working Conditions:

Work is performed in an ice arena where the employee may be exposed to cold temperatures.

Work is performed in a noisy place.
