Rock of Ages, a division of Polycor, is looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented Inside Sales Representative to join our team. Reporting to the Director of North American Memorial Sales, this position offers a clear development path into Outside Sales.
The successful candidate will begin in an inside sales role to build a strong foundation in our products, customers, estimating tools, and sales processes, before gradually transitioning into a field-based role with increased direct customer engagement. Initially, this position is office-based to provide hands‑on training and close collaboration with the sales and operations teams.
Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To- Support U.S. customers with quotations, pricing, and product guidance.
- Learn the full product portfolio, applications, and estimating tools.
- Prepare complete and accurate orders and submit them to the order entry team.
- Resolve discrepancies prior to submission to ensure efficient processing.
- Work closely with Outside Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and Order Entry teams.
- Gradually build customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Participate in customer visits and required trade shows as needed.
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Requirements & Technical Skills- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Sales or customer‑facing experience preferred.
- Ability to learn technical product and estimating information.
- Sales experience in the granite or memorial industry is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Experience with CRM systems is an asset (e.g., Salesforce).
- Willingness to travel up to 10% during the initial phase, with increased travel as responsibilities expand.
- Flexibility to adjust schedule as responsibilities expand.
