The OpportunityNaturally outgoing, detail-oriented, and unapologetically persistent are just a few of the words we’d use to describe the ideal Deficiency Sales Representative. People who do best in this role are often recognized for their ability to start a conversation with just about anyone and are known for never taking no for an answer. If this sounds like you, there may be an opportunity for you at Encore Fire Protection.
You are a proven team player who can also work independently. You’re confident in the details and small intricacies, while still able to see the bigger picture. You’re highly organized and bring strong time management skills that allow you to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
This is not a typical inside sales role. You will be paired with an outside sales executive and will be expected to spend time in the office working with internal resources to accurately quote work, develop proposals, and communicate with customers by phone and email, but the similarities end there.
Key Responsibilities- Work with customers to build long-standing relationships.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Operations, to ensure that the customer is getting our unique experience.
- Be the customer’s advocate and primary point of contact for questions and requests, connecting them with the right team members as needed.
- Review past inspection reports to accurately determine system deficiencies and work with customers to quote and service the system.
- Perform administrative duties such as writing and sending contract renewals, filling out proposals and forms, etc.
That will account for about 70% of your time. The rest of the time you will be encouraged to get out of the office to meet customers face-to‑face, build rapport, and survey life safety equipment so that you can effectively quote and sell contracts.
