Servicing projects Nationwide, and across the Caribbean, Enviro Vantage is recognized as a trusted authority for all Government, Commercial & Industrial projects involving proper Hazardous materials handling and Demolition.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair a wide range of heavy equipment. This role is critical to keeping projects on schedule by ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of heavy equipment with precision and expertise.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine repair solutions quickly and accurately
- Conduct safety inspections and ensure equipment complies with company and regulatory standards
- Maintain detailed service and repair records
- Respond to field service calls as needed to minimize equipment downtime
- Communicate repair needs and timelines with Director of Facilities
- Experience with construction or heavy machinery, including hydraulics & electric systems.
- Ability to assess, question, evaluate, and report on equipment performance.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Driver’s License and clean 5-year driving record
- OSHA 10
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb to perform work
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and objects weighing up to 75 pounds and heavier weights with the proper equipment

Compensation- Compensation Range: $37.00 - $41.00/hour
- Actual compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and location.
- Health Insurance:
Medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on the first day of the month following date of hire. - Retirement Plans: 401(k) – 100% company match on the first 4% of employee contributions.
- Paid Time Off (PTO): 80 hours per year
- Sick Time: 56 hours per year
