JOB REQUIREMENTS AND DUTIES

Must be 18 years of age or older, possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and have access to an insured vehicle suitable for delivery.

Drivers must navigate addresses within the designated delivery area, including multi‑story buildings and adverse terrain, and be able to read maps and use navigation tools.

ADVANCEMENT

Many team members start as delivery drivers and progress to franchise owners, managers, or other corporate roles. Domino’s offers a path for career growth.

SUMMARY STATEMENT

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
TRAINING

Orientation and on‑the‑job training are provided.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
  • Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers over the phone and in person.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / SKILLS
  • Perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly (calculator may be used).
  • Provide correct monetary change.
  • Take and process orders verbally, via telephone, and using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Use good motor coordination for rapid, accurate, and precise movements.
WORK CONDITIONS
  • Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather while removing trash and performing outside tasks.
  • In‑store temperatures ranging from 36°F in cooler areas to 90°F or higher in some work areas.
  • Sudden temperature changes in work and outside areas.
  • Fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
  • Cramped quarters such as walk‑in cooler.
  • Hot surfaces or tools from ovens up to 500°F or higher.
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
SENSING
  • Speaking and hearing on the telephone.
  • Near and mid‑range vision for most in‑store tasks.
  • Depth perception.
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
TEMPERAMENTS

The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Standing – most tasks performed from a standing position.
  • Walking – short distances for short durations; surfaces include ceramic tile, bricks, linoleum; work surfaces 36–48 inches high.
  • Lifting – lift bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds; use hand truck to unload; stack items up to 72 inches high.
  • Carrying – lift cans weighing 3 lb 7 oz; carry pizza sauce up to 30 lb; carry trays of dough up to 12 lb each.
  • Pushing/Pulling – move trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 lb; pull trays as needed.
  • Climbing – infrequently navigate stairs or ladders for maintenance tasks.
