Truck Driver CDL B Home Daily

Position Description

Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Concord, NH - offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a driving career you can feel good about.

• Ensure compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Detect, eliminate or minimize safety hazards.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Load and unload freight or assist in the loading/unloading of freight as required by the customer.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass a Ryder drug test, background check, and motor vehicle record verification for the last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and a Ryder road test.
• Provide a valid CDL and appropriate endorsements.
• Must have verifiable Class A or Class B experience in a tractor-trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years within the last 10 years.
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions.
• Must be able to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Pay:

• $1,353 or more per week.
• Hourly pay: $28.50 per hour.
• Hours per week: 40-45.
• Loyalty bonus: $3,000 paid half at 6 months and half at 1 year.
• Paid training.
• Schedule:
  
  Monday-Friday, no weekends.

• Class B CDL driver operates 26' stake truck.
• Routes: local home daily, deliver to NH, ME, VT and MA.
• Freight: touch – steel and metal and load securement.

All trucks are well-maintained, 36 months or newer, with 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 nationwide maintenance locations.
