What will you do?
The Cycle Count Coordinator is responsible for executing and managing inventory cycle count activities across warehouse and internal storage locations, ensuring inventory accuracy and integrity. This role supports operational performance by conducting timely and accurate counts, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with company procedures. The position requires strong attention to detail, familiarity with inventory systems, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Execute daily cycle count activities across warehouse and internal locations in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepare and organize daily count sheets to support accurate and efficient cycle counting.
- Perform accurate counts of inventory materials in warehouse and purge areas using bin locations and storage unit references.
- Conduct spot counts and recounts as required to validate inventory accuracy.
- Utilize cycle count systems to record results and document variances from initial blind counts.
- Investigate discrepancies and support root cause analysis, including tracking material movement to and from investigation areas.
- Ensure proper handling of materials during counting, including pallet handling, shrink wrapping, and use of weighing scales where required.
- Maintain inventory accuracy while ensuring compliance with company inventory control procedures.
- Ensure daily targets and cycle count schedules are met.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized working environment in compliance with company standards and safety policies.
- Support cross-training initiatives and provide backup support within the team as required.
Participate in team activities, promoting communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What will you need to succeed?
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Equivalent experience in inventory control or warehouse operations may be considered.
- Experience in inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse, or logistics environments.
- Strong understanding of inventory management and cycle count processes.
- Experience using inventory or cycle count systems (SAP or similar preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and counting.
- Ability to analyze discrepancies and support problem resolution.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
