Staff Accountant

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (On-site)

Salary: $65,000 per year

We are seeking an experienced Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations for a growing organization. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working with financial data, improving processes, and supporting a variety of accounting functions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and general accounting practices
.

• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Prepare and record journal entries and general ledger transactions.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Assist with month-end and quarter-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial reports and assist with financial analysis.
• Monitor accounting data for accuracy and compliance.
• Support audit requests and provide required documentation.
• Assist with tax-related reporting and filings.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong accounts payable and accounts receivable experience.
• Understanding of accounting principles and GAAP standards.
• Sales tax filing experience.
• VAT reporting experience.
• Manufacturing or technical industry experience.
• Experience supporting financial reporting and month-end close processes.
• $65,000 annual salary
