Description Of Work- The Operations Unit of the NC State Laboratory of Public Health (NCSLPH) is seeking an Administrative Specialist II to support the Accounting Team and Operations Unit.
- Provide logistical and facility support to the NCSLPH, as well as to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME).
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable, deposits, fixed assets, travel authorizations/reimbursements and invoicing.
- Duties include but are not limited to accounts payable functions, accounts receivable functions, reconciling invoices against purchase orders, resolving invoice discrepancies, tracking and managing fixed assets, assisting with administrative functions related to travel authorizations and reimbursements.
This temporary position is located in Raleigh, NC - Wake County with the Department of Health and Human Services.
Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay$22.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and four years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
