This position is located in Cumberland County, Fayetteville unit. The primary purpose of the position is to provide casework support to Rehabilitation Counselors. The major duties include support for caseloads as well as providing support in all aspects of office needs. The position requires a wide range of knowledge regarding community resources and local employers as well as the ability to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Responsibilities- Interview consumers and gather diagnostic data to assist counselors with determining eligibility and required rehabilitation services.
- Assist with developing a written plan of services in conjunction with the consumer, parent and/or guardian.
- Input casework data into relevant applications throughout the rehabilitation process.
- Prepare documents including authorizations and correspondence as needed; and complete all related administrative tasks in tandem with the processing assistant.
- Monitor the consumer's progress throughout the service delivery process.
- Work directly with community partners to assist individuals with disabilities in becoming suitably employed.
- Document service delivery and case progress in the case management system as required by agency policy.
Minimum:
High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Preferred knowledge regarding community resources and local employers.
- Preferred ability to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Salary Grade Range: $39,244 - $68,679
Recruitment Range: $39,244.00 - $49,000.00
Position is funded in part through federal funds and eligible for a hybrid-teleworking schedule including weekly onsite work hours.
