Office Administrator/ Coordinator, Administrative Management
Summary
Manages and oversees the daily administrative functions of the Criminal Courts Administrator’s Office. Relieves the Criminal Courts Administrator of administrative detail and provides assistance for the criminal courts.
Responsibilities- Establishes and maintains filing system.
- Maintains electronic file storage system.
- Maintains personnel files.
- Coordinates travel arrangements.
- Proof reads documents for external dissemination.
- Makes arrangements for Judge Meetings including agendas, official postings, lunches, and minutes.
- Coordinates purchasing activities.
- Updates Administrative Calendars.
- Produces monthly budget reports.
- Prepares annual budget.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
- High School diploma;
Associate’s degree preferred. - Ten years related experience required.
- Strong office management skills and knowledge of personal computers, word processing and spreadsheet software as well as other office equipment.
- Knowledge of business English and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Ability to assume responsibility without direct supervision.
- Ability to deal with confidential information regarding County business.
- Must have a positive, upbeat personality.
- Demonstrate a willingness to take on tasks and help others.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office suite and SAP – budget, performance appraisal, requisitions, budget reports and grant reports.
While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, lift, push and pull.
