Why This Role MattersThis position drives growth across the Northeast region by managing key strategic accounts and leading a high-performing sales team. The Sales Director represents multiple product lines, builds long-term customer partnerships, and executes a data-driven commercial strategy while maintaining a strong field presence with 50% travel.
- Own the go-to-market strategy for the Northeast region
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
- Develop annual and quarterly sales plans
- Drive growth across assigned product lines
- Lead, coach, and mentor two direct sales reports
- Recruit, onboard, and manage independent sales agents
- Serve as senior commercial contact for tier-1 strategic accounts
- Lead pricing discussions and long-term agreement negotiations
- Build long-term customer relationships
- Use CRM and dashboards to track KPIs and pipeline activity
- Adjust strategies based on analytics and structured reporting
- Standardize call planning and territory management processes
- Collaborate with product and marketing teams
- Gather and communicate structured customer feedback
- Maintain strong field presence with 50% travel
- Experience as a Sales Director or Regional Sales Leader
- Proven success managing tier-1/strategic accounts
- Experience leading sales teams and agency networks
- Highly organized, structured, and results-oriented
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Data-driven, with CRM proficiency
- Ability to build long-term customer partnerships
- Willingness to travel 50% or more
- Leadership style: team-builder, low ego, direct communicator, leads by example
- Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution
- Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 per year
- Bonus Potential: 10%
