Labcorp is seeking a Finance Excellence Intern to join our Finance Excellence Team located in Durham, NC with the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule.

Monday–Friday / 40 hours per week.
- Support the Finance Excellence team in collecting, validating, and analyzing financial data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and accessibility for reporting and decision-making.
- Assist with data governance and documentation efforts, including mapping data sources, defining key financial metrics, and supporting data quality checks across finance systems.
- Contribute to analytics and insights initiatives by preparing dashboards, ad‑hoc analyses, and presentations that help improve operational efficiency and financial performance.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program.
- Working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong interest in financial data, analytics, and technology.
- Foundational skills in Microsoft Excel and willingness to learn new tools and systems.
- Familiarity through coursework or hands‑on experience with financial analysis, statistics, or data management.
- Exposure to SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Python is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow structured processes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
- Demonstrates eagerness to learn and develop new skills.

About the TeamThe Finance Excellence Team is responsible for ensuring that Labcorp’s financial data is governed, accessible, and leveraged to drive strategic decision-making, operational efficiency, and enterprise performance and analytics. As a member of the Finance Excellence team, the intern will gain exposure to financial data management, data governance, analytics, and reporting while supporting initiatives that improve the accessibility and quality of financial information across the organization.
