We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead commercial and industrial HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects from pre-construction through completion. This role will manage budgets, schedules, materials, subcontractors, and client communication while delivering safe, compliant, high-quality projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Manage HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects from award and kick-off through closeout.
- Transition awarded work from estimating and coordinate engineering, shop drawings, drafting, and submittals.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, manpower plans, equipment tracking, and fabrication timelines.
- Manage budgets, costs, profitability, forecasting, and value-engineering opportunities.
- Procure equipment and materials and ensure accurate, timely delivery to project sites.
- Direct subcontractors and coordinate closely with field superintendents and operations teams.
- Prepare project status reports; price and manage change orders; and review invoices, payment requests, and warranty documentation.
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, applicable codes, OSHA requirements, and company safety standards.
- Lead project meetings, maintain client and vendor relationships, and oversee as-built drawings and O&M manuals.
- 3-5 years of project management experience in commercial or industrial mechanical construction.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. - Strong knowledge of HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, scheduling software, and project management platforms.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
