Customer Support Representative

Work Hours:

Mon‑Fri 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. This is not a remote position, but you may have a remote opportunity once a week after training.

Hourly pay: $24.00 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Field incoming B2B customer support requests via phone and Salesforce workflow.
  • Facilitate quotes for non‑stock special orders, delivery & set‑up orders, and large volume orders.
  • Answer product‑related questions and provide information from manufacturers.
  • Facilitate returns and follow up on credits.
  • Fulfill customer requests for proof of delivery or invoice/credit copies.
  • Provide sales support to Jan/San field and IAM teams.
  • Provide information to SPR branches regarding various programs and services.
Qualifications
  • Education:

    Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
  • Computer skills:
    Microsoft Word, Excel, E‑mail.
  • Language ability:
    Read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos; write simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
  • Math ability:
    Add, subtract, multiply, divide; compute rate, ratio, percent; draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning ability:
    Apply common sense to carry out detailed but uncomplicated written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Supervisory responsibilities:

    None.

Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. Occasional standing and walking. Occasionally required to lift up to 10 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
