Customer Care Specialist

• Attend and actively participate in all scheduled Foundation training courses
• Receive monitored inbound calls, email, or chats regarding Aflac products and services
• Provide thorough and accurate responses to policy-holder requests and inquiries
• Maintain a position of trust and responsibility by keeping all policyholders confidential
• Perform other related duties as required

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• 1 year of work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems
• Emotional intelligence skills
• Skill in selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures
• Skill in managing one’s own time
• Skilled in verbal and written communication
• Problem solving skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office suite software

Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills while effectively managing time and problem-solving in a customer service environment. Maintains confidentiality and trust with policyholders while providing accurate information regarding Aflac products and services.
