We are seeking an experienced, bilingual Dental Assistant II to join our team and provide hands-on support to our dentists. This role is essential in enhancing patient care efficiency by preparing treatment rooms, assisting during procedures, and managing dental equipment and records. Pay- $18 - $22 per hour
- Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience.
Shift & Schedule- Night shift
Monday: 8 AM - 4 PM
Tuesday: 8 AM - 4 PM
Wednesday: 8 AM - 4 PM
Thursday: 8 AM - 6 PM
Friday: 8 AM - 3 PM
Saturday & Sunday:
Closed
No night shifts
Requirements- License & Certification:
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, Basic life support - Software
Experience:
Open Dental, Eaglesoft - Years of Professional
Experience:
Experienced Dental assistant with 2+ years of practice
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant II
Dental Assistant Certification (DA certified) required
Bilingual in Spanish (required)
Current CPR Certification
Valid Coronal Polish Certification
Radiation Health & Safety Certification
Proficiency or willingness to learn Dentrix Ascend and Nomad dental software
Job Description- Assist dentists during dental procedures including crown preparations, root canals, and other treatments
- Take intraoral X-rays accurately and safely
- Sterilize, organize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Operate digital scanners during patient care
- Manage patient records and dental software including Dentrix Ascend and Nomad (training provided if needed)
- Perform coronal polishing to enhance patient oral hygiene
- Maintain compliance with Radiation Health & Safety standards during X-ray procedures
- Ensure the treatment area is clean, well-stocked, and prepared for each patient
- Provide clear communication and support to patients, especially Spanish-speaking patients
