Position: Adjunct Instructor, History (Pooled Position, South Campus)

Job Description Summary

Candidates should be passionate educators who can facilitate the needs of 21st century learners and demonstrate:

  • Mastery of their specific discipline
  • Deep commitment to the college mission of fostering student success, achievement, and persistence
  • Technology competencies along with teaching and counseling skills and strategies that facilitate 21st‑century literacies

Minimum Education

A Master’s Degree in History or a Master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in History is required. A Ph.D. is preferred.

Minimum Experience/Training

The successful candidate must have a high level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching. All schedules require office hours and some may require evening and/or weekend hours.
