Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic High School Teacher for an EC Occupational Course of Study (OCS) position. This is a full-time, contracted role for the entire school year, providing a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of students with exceptional needs. As an EC OCS Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering specialized instruction and support to students preparing for life after high school.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of students with exceptionalities.
• Design and deliver engaging and effective lessons in accordance with the OCS curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, adjusting instruction as necessary to ensure academic and personal growth.
• Collaborate with parents, school staff, and external agencies to support student success and well-being.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement and confidence.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to meet diverse learning needs.
• Participate in professional development opportunities and stay current with best practices in special education.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Special Education, Education, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
• Valid teaching license or certification in Special Education or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching students with exceptionalities, particularly in an OCS setting.
• Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent munication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, parents, and professionals.
