Orchestral Strings Music Teacher

Music & Arts is seeking an Orchestral Strings Music Teacher to provide high-quality private and group instruction for violin, viola, cello, and bass in our Store 041. In this role, you will teach students of varying ages and skill levels, prepare customized lesson plans, track progress, and support recitals and performances. You'll collaborate with store staff to align lessons with rentals, sales, and school programs, while promoting a welcoming, inclusive learning environment.

This position is ideal for a strings educator passionate about music education, student growth, and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide private and group lessons for violin, viola, cello, and bass students of all ages and levels
• Develop and adapt individualized lesson plans and learning goals
• Assess student progress and communicate regularly with students and parents
• Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and school performances
• Maintain accurate lesson schedules, attendance, and progress records
• Coordinate with store staff on rentals, sales, and school outreach needs
• Create an inclusive, encouraging, and safe learning environment
• Incorporate best practices in technique, musicianship, and music theory
• Support in-store events that promote music education and community engagement
• Uphold Music & Arts policies and represent the brand professionally
