Process Engineer

About the company:
A manufacturer of medical devices is hiring a Process Engineer with sintering and metallurgy experience.
This role aims to help the company achieve its mission of disrupting medical device micro-manufacturing for ultra-resolution small metal parts.
The company is high-growth, product-focused, and brings high-value devices to market using additive manufacturing technology.
About You:
- You have experience working with sintering furnaces and/or other powder metallurgy manufacturing equipment.
- You have demonstrated ownership of the operation and maintenance of machines. You can run standard processes on machines and conduct trials to help optimize those processes.
- When things don’t work, you can help find out what went wrong, communicate the issues to the team, and implement solutions.
- You’re good at troubleshooting and repairing equipment, using your technical, mechanical, electrical, and software skills.
- You have experience working with high-precision metrology equipment, documenting and reporting measurement results.
- You can analyze the resulting data and help set specifications to meet performance goals.
- You have excellent attention to detail. You can follow technical work instructions precisely and safely, and work through the proper channels when changes are necessary.
- You can get things done for the important tasks and the mundane ones. You have a continuous improvement mindset with a focus on excellence.
- You’re excited to work in a fast-paced start-up environment, and you take great pride in giving the world an excellent product that creates life-changing medical devices.
- You’re adaptable and flexible. The company is growing fast, and there will be opportunities to take on new responsibilities and grow into new roles based on performance.
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You’re able to communicate successes and challenges openly.
- You may have experience working with 3D Printing systems, especially stereo lithography systems.
- You have 5+ years of experience working in manufacturing facilities operating machines.
