Responsibilities
  • The role involves designing, programming, and updating PLC control logic using platforms such as Allen Bradley (Rockwell), Siemens, and Mitsubishi.
  • Diagnosing and repairing PLC-based systems as well as associated electrical and electronic components.
  • Electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts must be accurately interpreted to support effective troubleshooting and system improvements.
  • Works closely with engineering and maintenance teams to enhance automation performance and reliability.
  • Conducting system testing and validation, documenting control logic, and maintaining up-to-date backups of all PLC software and related documentation. Support is also provided during the installation and commissioning of new machinery and control systems.
  • All automation activities performed in adherence to established safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications /Experience
  • Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting in an industrial environment.
  • Proficiency with HMI/SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, sensors, actuators, and motor controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with robotics integration or motion control systems.
  • Familiarity with safety PLCs and machine safety standards (e.g., ISO 13849, ANSI B11).
  • Knowledge of data acquisition and industrial networking.
