Responsibilities- The role involves designing, programming, and updating PLC control logic using platforms such as Allen Bradley (Rockwell), Siemens, and Mitsubishi.
- Diagnosing and repairing PLC-based systems as well as associated electrical and electronic components.
- Electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control panel layouts must be accurately interpreted to support effective troubleshooting and system improvements.
- Works closely with engineering and maintenance teams to enhance automation performance and reliability.
- Conducting system testing and validation, documenting control logic, and maintaining up-to-date backups of all PLC software and related documentation. Support is also provided during the installation and commissioning of new machinery and control systems.
- All automation activities performed in adherence to established safety and quality standards.
- Associate’s degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 3+ years of experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting in an industrial environment.
- Proficiency with HMI/SCADA systems and industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, sensors, actuators, and motor controls.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed.
- Experience with robotics integration or motion control systems.
- Familiarity with safety PLCs and machine safety standards (e.g., ISO 13849, ANSI B11).
- Knowledge of data acquisition and industrial networking.

Salary: $36-$41/hr
