SummaryThe BIM/VDC Specialist supports the Building Information Modeling and Virtual Design Construction process and works directly under the BIM/VDC Manager to facilitate jobsite construction using VDC. The Specialist creates 3D models on one complex project or multiple small projects and may assist with design validation and model maintenance. Visits field to learn concrete construction means and methods.
Responsibilities- Responsible for Creating and Maintaining 3D Models
- Supports Pre-construction with Visualization and Presentation
- Supports Research and Implementation of Construction Technology
- Supports Onboarding and Training Needs
- Supports Information Technology
- Ensures a Safe Work Environment
- Participates in Training/Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a related construction field and 5 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced knowledge of 3D/4D/5D BIM and of appropriate platforms such as AutoCAD, Architectural Desktop, Revit, Tekla, etc.
