The Town of Weavervilleis seeking dedicated Water Treatment Plant Operators to join our growing team of 30 full-time public works professionals. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the town’s water treatment facility. This position plays a direct role in public safety by ensuring the delivery of clean, high-quality drinking water to our residents.

Individuals that may be new to water production or those that are certified operators with a high level of experience are encouraged to apply! We will provide comprehensive on-the-job training and certification sponsorship for the right entry-level candidate! The hiring range for water plant operator positions reflects that wide range of possibilities and is expected to be between $50,000 and $80,000, contingent on qualifications, certifications, and experience, and is also subject to negotiation.
