Communications Associate

Responsibilities:

As a part of the Carowinds Dispatch team, your daily assigned duties would be as follows:
Dispatch all routine and emergency traffic for assigned channels, including police/security and all first aid and fire department calls. Monitor weather radar and lightning detector and advise appropriate units of weather conditions as directed by management. Complete detailed reports before the end of scheduled shift on incidents occurring on the property. Perform multiple tasks simultaneously with accuracy and efficiency. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

Park experience

OR dispatch experience. Ability to pass a background check, which may include, but is not limited to criminal, DMV, previous employment, education, and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays, and open availability. Driver's license required.
