We are looking for a skilled Sales Tax/Indirect Tax Accountant to join our team in Concord, North Carolina. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review corporate income and sales tax returns to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct tax research and provide insights to support decision-making processes and ensure adherence to evolving tax laws.
• Collaborate with internal teams to complete annual income tax provisions and related documentation.
• Analyze financial data to identify tax-saving opportunities and minimize liabilities.
• Assist in audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities with timely and accurate information.
• Maintain detailed records of tax filings and compliance activities for organizational reference.
• Monitor changes in tax regulations and implement necessary adjustments to the company's tax processes.
• Support the preparation and filing of sales and use tax returns across multiple jurisdictions.
• Work closely with external consultants or auditors to facilitate smooth tax reporting and compliance processes.
• Provide guidance and training to less experienced staff on tax-related matters and best practices.
