Permanent and time-limited NC State Government employees must separate from their permanent or time-limited position in order to work in a temporary position. All temporary employees are limited to one NC State Government temporary assignment at a time.

This temporary position is located at 1915 Health Services Way, Raleigh - Wake County, with the Department of Health & Human Services.

Job Order Hourly Rate of Pay: $40.00 (Based on education and/or years of relevant work experience reflected on the application).

The Grants Specialist is a core member of the Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) Grant Operations unit, supporting the RHTP Operations Manager and serving as the lead for the Rural Health Innovation Fund's (RHIF) risk‑assessment activities.

This position coordinates, reviews, evaluates, and audits for compliance, accuracy, and accountability across financial programs and business operations under the CMS Cooperative Agreement CMS RHT 26 001.

Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, public administration, or a related discipline from an accredited institution and 1 year of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
