This position is located in Clinton, Sampson County, which is a satellite office that is part of the Dunn unit office. The primary purpose of the position is to provide casework support to Rehabilitation Counselors. The major duties include support for caseloads as well as providing support in all aspects of office needs. The position requires a wide range of knowledge regarding community resources and local employers as well as the ability to communicate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Job Responsibilities- Interviewing consumers and gathering diagnostic data to assist counselor with determining eligibility and required rehabilitation services
- Assist with develop a written plan of services in conjunction with the consumer, parent and/or guardian; inputting casework data into relevant applications throughout the rehabilitation process
- Preparing documents including authorizations and correspondences as needed; and completing all related administrative tasks in tandem with the processing assistant
- Monitor the consumer's progress throughout the service delivery process
- Work directly with community partners in order to assist individuals with disabilities in becoming suitably employed
- Document service delivery and case progress in the case management system as required by agency policy
Preferred:
Experience engaging with individuals from underserved, marginalized, or disability communities, demonstrating cultural sensitivity, empathy, and awareness of access and inclusion barriers.
Preferred:
Proficiency in performing routine administrative and office support functions, such as data entry, document preparation, scheduling, and filing, with accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred:
Demonstrated ability to provide effective front‑line service to the public, including responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, and maintaining professionalism in diverse and fast‑paced environments.
$39,244.00 – $68,679.00
Recruitment Range$39,244.00 – $49,000.00
