Ground Communication-Electronics Repair Technician Jr

Amentum is seeking a Ground Communication-Electronics Repair Technician Jr to join our team of passionate individuals in Camp Lejeune, NC
.

This Ground Communications-Electronics Repair Technician Jr. position is located at Stone Bay, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC, in support of Marine Forces Special Operations Command (MARFORSOC). The Contractor shall perform diagnosis, repairs, and modifications to ground data/communications equipment at the organizational and intermediate levels.

• Use AIS such as GCSS-MC and SSAVIE.
• Obtain an operators’ license for non-tactical and tactical Government-owned equipment.
• Read schematic diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
• Provide support to USMC Special Operations Forces equipment with comprehensive logistical and technical maintenance of communications, intelligence, and tactical air control capabilities.
• Execute multiple functional tasks including troubleshooting, maintenance, repair; prepare supply system requisitions; conduct vendor liaison; execute item management and disposition actions; support the Capital Equipment Replacement Program; coordinate with Field Service Representatives from outside manufacturers; maintain readiness of all organic equipment; maintain technical publications; document all logistics and maintenance of equipment, equipment status, equipment inventory, and supply transactions via LOGAIS (GCSS-MC).

Compensation Details: $30.42 hr (overtime-eligible hourly rate under the Service Contract Act).
