Description

Our client is the exclusive provider of technology solutions for a Car Company's racing division, is seeking a sharp, midcareer Technical Support Specialist to join a highly specialized team supporting NASCAR events nationwide. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, learns quickly, and loves solving complex technical problems under pressure.

They will support our client's racing operations on-site at NASCAR events by deploying, configuring, and maintaining the custom-built systems our client uses for real-time vehicle telemetry, data analytics, mobile viewing centers, and trackside infrastructure.

This is a high impact, handson position supporting one of the most exciting technology environments in professional racing.

What they will do

Deploy and troubleshoot:

  • Network services
  • Routing equipment (light configuration)
  • A/V equipment and cabling
  • Satellite uplinks
  • Workstations, laptops, and peripherals
  • Support Windows and Sonic Wall environments.
  • Manage access and permissions, including email adjustments as needed.
  • Work directly with drivers, pit crews, engineers, and technical leadership.
  • Use and support our client's proprietary applications and analytics platforms.
  • Provide exceptional on-site troubleshooting and rapid problem resolution.

Experience:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on technical support experience in roles such as:
  • IT Support Technician (Level II preferred)
  • Field Services Technician
  • Technical Specialist with light networking exposure
Must-Have

Skills:
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts and ability to  figure things out  quickly.
  • Comfort working with custom-built and proprietary systems.
  • Solid foundation in:
  • Windows support
  • Basic to intermediate networking
  • Sonic Wall (a plus)
  • A/V setup and wiring
  • Laptop and peripheral support
  • Ability to work independently after initial ramp-up.
Personality & Work Style:
  • Loves travel and this is non-negotiable (50%+ of the year on the road).
  • Tech-savvy quick learner who thrives in new environments.
  • Strong customer service mindset; excellent communication skills.
  • Calm under pressure and able to troubleshoot live-event issues.
  • Enjoys being hands-on and working with hardware as much as software.

This is a Permanent position based out of Concord, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

  • 1 week a year off without having to use PTO
  • Health insurance is 100% coverage and %100 premium paid.
  • PTO is 3 weeks vacation plus 10 holidays and sick leave as needed
  • Opportunity for bonuses
