Performance Integration Trainer - Fort Bragg, NCJob Summary
Delivers interpersonal performance education that strengthens ARSOF Soldiers’ effectiveness in complex and high-stress environments. This role instructs Soldiers and leaders on engagement and negotiation techniques and their application to mission tasks, while building skills in adaptive thinking, emotional intelligence, communication, and cross-cultural awareness. The trainer also develops targeted programs and provides performance consulting to help personnel maintain composure, solve problems creatively, and excel mentally, physically, and interpersonally in demanding operational settings.
Roleand Responsibilities
- Develop and provide education and training instructions relating to the Interpersonal Domain and Solider performance centering on four primary areas:
Adaptability, Emotional Intelligence, Communication (verbal and non-verbal), and Negotiations as all four relate to human engagements and Army related skills. - Instruct and provide education and training in negotiation and mediation techniques to include aspects of negotiations in a joint, interagency, intergovernmental, and multinational environment.
- Oversee, develop and provide instruction in Interpersonal Domain education and training to enhance ARSOF Soldiers and DACs ability to: think and solve problems in unconventional ways; maintain composure while responding to or adjusting one’s own thinking and actions to fit a changing environment; recognize, understand, and navigate within multiple social networks; and proactively shape the environment or circumstances in anticipation of desired outcomes.
- Be able to use simulation technology and biofeedback in accordance with established guidelines to demonstrate operational performance enhancement principles and to personalize the acquisition and application of interpersonal skills techniques. This will include the use of a current synthetic training environment (STE) capabilities and future semi-immersive and virtual immersive capabilities training capabilities including AR, VR, and MR technologies. Coaches will work with Soldiers during individual and collective marksmanship training with simulated and real weapons (configured for use in the STE;
no live ammunition) on the application of human performance (HP) skills and serve as SMEs in using wearable biometric sensors, and other technology to determine HP training impacts through Measure of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs). - Train Soldiers and Leaders on the acquisition of engagement and negotiations techniques and their application to individual military tasks and unit operations to include field operations.
- Instruct, train, and coach in engagement and negotiation techniques, conflict styles, adaptive thinking, conflict resolution, and mediation.
- Perform instruction, training, and education in field environments and under seasonal and adverse weather conditions.
- Perform instruction, training, and education in field environments requiring movement/transportation via watercraft, aircraft, and/or ground vehicular means.
- Collaborate with multi-service, joint, federal, and/or designated organizations to develop, advise, share, research, and implement best practices of interpersonal performance theory into practical application.
- Assist and provide input to presentations/briefings that inform leaders and decision makers.
- Comply with company standard operating policies and procedures.

- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience with SOF and minimum three (3) OCONUS deployments with SOF.
- Served in leadership positions as a Commissioned Officer (O3 or above), Chief Warrant Officer (CW2 or above), Senior Non-commissioned Officer (E-8 or above) in Civil Affairs, Special Forces of Psychological Operations units.
